The London Eye Is the largest Ferris wheel to be built in the world, some people call it “ millennium wheel.” It is called this because of the new millennium. The London Eye measures 443 feet from corner to corner, and the glass that 32 covered can hold 25 people in it. The London Eye was designed by  Julia Barfield and David Marks. When it was finished being constructed on, it was raised vertical by two large cranes.
